MONARCH BRAZILIAN JIUJITSU & KICKBOXING
Brazilian JiuJitsu has come to Hermitage, Pennsylvania. When parents are considering which of the many martial arts styles available, this one is at the top of the list. Proven to be the most effective and devastating martial art for close range, hand to hand combat, and selfdefense, Brazilian JiuJitsu has gone head to head against…you name it. Virtually every style of martial art out there has proven ineffective against this most dominant style.
For the last five years I have worked with students of all ages teaching and coaching Brazilian JiuJitsu. But teaching and coaching is not primarily what my job is. It’s part of it. It’s a large part of it. But, more fundamentally, my job has been to develop relationships with my students and parents, to understand what it is that each student needs and what their parents want for each of them.
Each of my students is unique. It has been a joy to me to get to know each of their personalities, the way they relate to one another and the way they relate their lives to myself and their other coaches. There truly are no two the same, however, there is a common link that parents have with one another in what it is that they want for their children. Every parent wants to see their children grow to be strong men and women of character and discipline, to be able to focus on a goal and achieve it, to have the confidence to persevere in the face of adversity. Our mission here at Monarch Brazilian JiuJitsu is to work together with parents to raise up strong young men and women of strength and character, and to present them with the tools and selfknowledge, that so much of our society lacks, to be successful in life so that one day they will have the knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to pass on to their own children.
